appointment system

We now call you back to clinically assess and treat you on a same-day basis. For an appointment call 0208 299 0499

Faster, more convenient appointments:
When you call us, the customer service team will make an appointment for a doctor or first contact nurse (clinician) to call you back on a same day basis, unless you call after 4pm. Our clinician will call you, assess your symptoms, and either consult with you over the phone or invite you into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment. Where your condition does not require a face-to-face appointment, our clinician will offer you advice over the phone, and will, if necessary, arrange a prescription. Where a face-to-face appointment is necessary, our clinician will personally book you in on a same-day basis whenever possible.

Please note, the customer service team cannot book a face-to-face appointment with a doctor or first contact nurse; this can only be done by the clinician when he or she calls you back.

Routine treatment and check-ups:
For routine treatment and check-ups such as blood pressure monitoring, cervical screening, immunisations and so on, the customer service team will continue to arrange a face-to-face appointment for you in the traditional way.

Seeing the right clinician:
Our clinical team boasts a wide, highly qualified range of doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants. Please be aware that our doctors are on hand to deal mainly with the most complex and serious problems. The majority of problems are more quickly and conveniently dealt with by using the skills of the whole clinical team. If every patient visiting the surgery were to request doctor attention over and above care from any other member of the clinical team, many patients with the greatest need to see a doctor would be kept waiting, so please show consideration when requesting a doctor appointment in the place of one with an alternative clinician.

First contact nurses are highly trained to treat complex cases, are qualified to diagnose and prescribe, and deliver care for a wide range of patient requirements. Practice nurses and healthcare assistants deal with certain specialist areas and long-term conditions, as well as care for your routine treatment and check-up needs. Doctors are always on hand for support and advice where needed.

Call us and we'll do the rest:
Whatever you need just call us, explain your requirements and the customer service team will take care of everything for you.
